SDHHS provides a number of programs designed to help those with a hearing loss obtain affordable batteries for hearing devices, look for meaningful employment, provide necessary resources to clients for furthering their education, and provide counselling services to clients regarding personal issues.

Community Service Worker - encourage citizens to participate in their communities and provide them with resources to meet their needs.

Vocational Counselling - provides step-by-step assistance to help people achieve their career or education goals.

Discount Hearing Aid Battery Program - provides hearing aid batteries to persons with a hearing loss at a cost of $5.00/individual package, and $4.00/individual package for SDHHS members.
