Saskatchewan Deaf and

Hard of Hearing Services Inc.

Each year SDHHS hosts 3 events that it uses to foster stronger relationships with the community, raise public awareness of hearing loss issues, and help build greater services for its members.

Annual General Meeting - This event provides members of SDHHS with a chance to come together and provide their discussion on current issues, strategies for the future, and allow them to reflect on the previous year's events.

Silent Walk - Is an event held each year to promote deaf culture, raise awareness of deaf and hard of hearing issues, and assemble a collective voice for the deaf and hard of hearing communities.

Youth Events - Is provided to help youth - with a hearing loss - develop leadership skills, and self-advocacy skills and strategies. It also allows youth to become engaged in social interaction and provides a sense of belonging.
