Position Summary:

Saskatchewan Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Inc. is seeking a dynamic, highly competent and motivated individual with strong communications, leadership and management skills to join our organization as Executive Director.

SDHHS is a bi-lingual, bi-cultural, provincial non-profit community-based organization that supports the independence of Deaf, Deafened and Hard of Hearing persons by providing products and services which enhance their quality of life. From offices within Saskatoon and Regina, SDHHS serves the needs of agency clients across Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director interacts with governments and community partners, preparing funding proposals and managing revenue opportunities to ensure that constituent needs are met. The Executive Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of SDHHS as well as the development, planning and implementation of all agency policies and programs.

Education & Experience:
Qualified candidates will possess a degree or certification from an accredited university or college in the social science or business administration fields and have three or more years of senior management experience.

Previous work experience within a community-based service organization and demonstrated communications skills are considered valued assets. Persons who are Deaf, Deafened, Hard of Hearing and Hearing are encouraged to apply.
